TROY MG VINCENT, ASGCA
As President of Vincent Design, LLC, Troy MG Vincent is a member of the American Society of Golf Course Architects and has been actively involved in the golf course industry for over 20 years. A native of Augusta, Georgia and growing up in an area with rich history and traditions of the great game of golf had a profound impact on Troy from a very early age. Upon graduating from The University of Georgia with a degree in Landscape Architecture, Mr. Vincent began to pursue his long time passion of becoming a Golf Course Architect, a discipline that is learned and not formally taught.
Troy’s first opportunity was presented by Gene Bates of Bates Golf Design in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. Gene quickly exposed Troy to many facets of the industry including design and plan document preparation. Working for a small firm allowed him to gain insights on a wide variety of perspectives involved in the design process.
After a year, Jack Nicklaus’s design firm, Nicklaus Design came calling and offered Troy the opportunity to work with the largest golf course design firm in the world. Nicklaus Design became home for 15 years where Troy served as Design Associate.

"Tony has amassed an incredible career, in fact one which all players could only dream could happen to them. With 27 victories on PGA, European and Senior PGA Tours, including two majors, The British Open and US Open as well as a Ryder Cup Captain on four occasions. Tony and I share many of the same philosophies in regards to golf course design and the enviroment, which is why we work so well together." Troy MG Vincent
